We provide a comprehensive range of weighing components, systems and first-class solutions that help you solve almost any weighing task in a perfect way. Whatever the industry, our weighing technology makes a decisive contribution toward meeting quality, cost and performance. Transcedence offers a variety of material weighing systems for many industries and applications. Each system is customized to meet the exact requirements and demands of our customer. Material Weighing Systems are useful for automatic batching of one ingredient at a time using single or multiple scales. A semi-automatic material weighing system requires operator assisted weighing with automatic operator instructions and lockouts to ensure there will be no more missed ingredients due to operator interruption. This ensures batch integrity, quality & consistency (ingredient weighments within a programmable tolerance).
Industrial Weighing System
Belt weighers are automated systems designed to control, regulate and totalize continuous flow of bulk material. With the advent of this fast mode of transportation, accounting the quantity of material transferred assumes great importance. Since weight remains as the most reliable index of material accounting and can be measured directly and precisely, designers can offer accurate weighing systems to maintain higher accuracy and better accountability in the process.
A weigh-bridge can be considered as a platform that is supported by weight-sensing elements which produce an output proportional to the load placed on the platform
A digital weight indicator is scale instrumentation that communicates the weight of the items on the scale to an operator through a display or to another machine. Weight data can then be used to make a decision or trigger an action as part of a larger process. While all weight indicators perform this important task, there are different styles of scale indicators to meet application needs.
Basic weight indicators provide weight readings and some can control simple processes, such as basic batching. Programmable weight indicators are more advanced and can control complex processes involving multiple data points that could require custom programming. Signal Conditioning Transmitters are specifically designed to seamlessly integrate weight data into PLC systems. Intrinsically Safe indicators provide reliable weight readings in potentially explosive and hazardous environments.
Load cells and weight sensors can be used to build weighing stations and other systems for weighing goods. They transform a load or weight into an electronic signal. This output signal can take the form of a change in current, frequency, or voltage, depending on the type of load cell and its configuration. Every sensor is made from a durable material such as steel and fitted with one or more strain gauges. When force is applied to the strain gauge, it transmits a low electrical current. Force sensors can be pressure or tension based, or even bidirectional.
Industrial scales are used in shipping, loading dock, trucking, logistical, supply chain, retail, inventory, food, warehouse and laboratory applications. Depending on the model of industrial scale chosen for your particular application, your industrial scale may be equipped with a USB port, RS-232 interface or Bluetooth adapter to allow the weighing data to be transferred to a computer for detailed analysis and documentation.
Different industrial scales offer different weighing ranges and levels of accuracy. When selecting a industrial scale, be sure to consider the anticipated weight of the object to be measured, and make sure the industrial scale you decide upon has a maximum weighing capacity slightly above your needs. In addition, different industrial scales can have different functions such as full-range tare, part counting and zero capabilities. Consider the requirements of your application and whether any added functionality would be beneficial to your process. For example, a warehouse might want a industrial scale that not only weighs boxes, but also counts parts to help keep track of product inventory.
Transcedence offers a full line of Bulk Bag Unloading and Weighing Systems that incorporate many of the same structural aspects as the micro, minor, and bulk weighing systems, but are specifically designed to unload a bulk bag or tote, typically into a fixed hopper within the system.
Solutions are provided for unloading bulk bags of dry bulk solid materials and filling the supply bins such as drums or tote tippers. In addition, batch weighing can be added along with batching controls. These can include the addition of mechanical or pneumatic conveying, a choice of weighing solutions including gain-in-weight & loss-in-weight.
Transcedence customized minor and major weighing systems to create a batch of material that requires accurately measured ingredients, which is critical to the batch integrity. These minor and major weighing systems can be semi-automatic or fully automatic. As a part of our minor and major weighing systems, we offer supply bins, feeders, automatic bin refilling, work platforms, raw material bag handling equipment, dust collection, and batched material conveying equipment (pneumatic and mechanical). Minor weighing systems are those which have typical weighment sizes over 50lbs (23kg) to around 100-150lbs (45-65kg). Major weighing systems have individual weighments greater than minor. It also is not unusual to see a weighing system with micro, minor and major size weighments. These systems may combine automatic and semi-automatic systems together into a hybrid system, combining multiple weighment sizes and both automatic and manual weighing and batching.
Micro weighing systems are used for accurate weighing of micro ingredients into your batching system. Microscales are broken down into three basic design configurations for your micro ingredients: Rollover Hoppers, Funnel Hoppers and Compartment Hoppers. These configurations offer accuracy, volumetric capacity and speed.
